1.1 ToolBar Controls and Operation

The PhotoMazing ToolBar control provides a quick and effortless method for setting up your canvas creation and producing very pleasant results. With one click, you can activate several dialogs and even transform and resize hundreds or even thousands of images at once! As shown in the table below, each toolbar icon has three "states" or display characteristics - Hot, Unselected, Disabled:

Note: in most cases, PhotoMazing will automatically disable an icon if there is no valid action that can be taken at that time. Example: if your image list is empty, you cannot save the canvas to disk .

A description of the functionality of each toolbar button is described below. The registered vs. unregistered column illustrates the advantages or registering this product in many cases. Note: an active toolbar button will "light up" or change state when you place the mouse cursor over it.

	Print canvas	Yes	Yes	The current canvas image is printed to the currently selected or default printer. Portrait or landscape settings are automatic based on your current canvas dimensions. No dialog is displayed. Note: if you use Print from the File menu bar, the standard print dialog will be displayed prior to printing.
	Save canvas	Yes	Yes	Save current canvas as BMP or JPG file.
	Canvas snapshot	Yes	Yes	Get next photo sequence and redraw canvas.
	Open photo image	Yes (limited to 32 photos)	Yes	Goto selected directory, replace current image list with all image files in directory and redraw canvas starting with selected image.
	Add photo(s) to current image list	Yes	Yes	Add one or more selected images to the current image list. Use this option after erasing the image list to process only a limited series of photos.
	Resize canvas	Yes	Yes	Opens the resize dialog and resize or rotate the canvas according to preset or custom dimensions.
	Save canvas and get next snapshot	Yes	Yes	Save current canvas to disk and redraw canvas with next photo sequence. Note: the file name and type is specified on the canvas layout and additional option dialog.
	Choose frame setting	Yes (limited to 1 of 10 available frames)	Yes	Open the frame chooser dialog and select from 1 to 10 internal frames.
	Canvas layout and additional options	Yes	Yes	Opens the canvas layout and additional options dialog. Use this to set color schemes, transparent logos and snapshot file options.
	Snapshot entire image list to disk	Yes	Yes	This button will automatically snapshot your entire image list to disk. This can result in format conversion, resizing, renaming, framing and/or adding logos to hundreds or thousands of images in one operation!
	View and select image	Yes	Yes	Opens the image list browser dialog. This allows you to "seek" a photo or image sequence from your current image list. Simply click on the name of the photo or image you wish to start your canvas with, check the image preview and click the "Goto Picture" button.
	Erase image list	Yes	Yes	Erase the entire current image list. Use this with the "Add Photos" button to process a selected sequence of photos or images.
	Calendar poster maker	Yes (limited resolution)	Yes	Opens the Calendar Poster Maker dialog.
	Express Mail Client	Yes (public encryption only)	Yes (public or private encryption)	Opens PhotoMazing express mail dialog. Use this to automatically mail your canvas to friends and family on the internet. Built in encryption and steganography allows you to hide your e-mail message inside a JPG image! Registered users can supply a private password!
	Register program	Yes	Yes	Opens PhotoMazing registration dialog. If you are already registered, this button will remain inactive.
